In a landmark initiative to advance Financial Inclusion and digital access while eliminating the need for long treks in search of electricity and computers, the Office of the President, Ntoroko District, in partnership with the Ministry of ICT & National Guidance and the Ministry of Finance, Planning & Economic Development, has distributed 50 solar-powered tablets to 47 PDM SACCO leaders and 3 PDM technical support staff. The handover was coordinated by the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), the ICT office-Ntoroko District and presided over by the Deputy Resident District Commissioner, Mr. Ngarambe Sylus Muzeeyi, on Friday, 10th October 2025, at the District Headquarters in Kibuuku.
